Thats it :(

Well that is it for Day 1, here's 36 new photos of in game footage for you. I'm watching the premiere of Code Monkey's. I will try to provide you with even more pictures tomorrow. I'm always sad after the first day of E3, it seems like all the fun is over and all the crazy announcements are over, but there is still another two days of goodness. So come back tomorrow around 4 for a two hour pre-speculation blog live.

PICTURES!

last of the news

Cool new game called Agency where you complete spy missions like sneaking around and shooting things up and even street racing.

Fracture looks incredible, the weapons look devastating and the explosions look awesome. The environments look well detailed and complex. It will be on the PS3 and the XB360 it will come out sometime this time next year.

An interesting game by EA called playground coming to the wii allows you to play other mini games like dodge ball, basketball, etc...

Last Quick announcement Unreal Tournament III will be available on PS3 and PC in 2007 and Xbox 360 in 2008.

new games and EA notes

Kane and Lynch is a crime drama based on two characters that hate each other. It turns out to rely heavily on dialogue. Out June 4th 2007.

Talk about Jack Tretton, talks about how the Kill Zone footage is 100% in game footage. doesn't consider it a "price drop" just a reducement, like it was supposed to come down anyway. mentions there is another 160 games still being made for PS2 (still running on their PS2).
Hellgate london looks incredible, and Skate looks like a nice relief from the hyperbole THPS series.

Misc. bleh

Burnout Paradise city looks great they built this from the ground up, new engine, new sounds, and graphics, no new footage though.

Brand new Ratchet and Clank game that looks very nice. The new weapons are incredibly cool like the Groovitron. The animation is superb

BBL

I'll be back in an hour, I will be getting more footage and more write ups on the things I missed.

Uncharted

Uncharted Drakes Fortune from naughty dog, a new action adventure game the environment is beautiful. The animation is so smooth and the main character uses different expressions depending on the situation. It's completely free form and sand boxy game, this is not your old crash bandicoot it looks incredibly real. The story is engrossing as well

Outsiders

Outsiders by THQ represents a post apocalyptic universe that presents non linear objectives, its all about revenge, reminds me of Fallout.

Mario Dupe

A mario galaxy will have a co-op mode to help you along with your quest. You'r friends will help you defeat enemies and get items. The game has amazing physics and the Wiimote really helps with running upside down on the planets. Also Mario has a bee costume this time which allows him to fly. Unfortunately I got no footage or even any in game footage. Sorry to get your hopes up.

Midway games are friggen awesome

Midway Press, finally Wii games but not too interesting, stranglehold looks great. A new Area 51 on multiple platforms that runs on Unreal engine. Built in skill system determines your skill and then matches your squads skills. Next I will be covering Mario Galaxy with hopefully some video and of course pictures. Dont expect a lot of writing since you already get the idea of the game.

Heavenly Sword

Heavenly Sword, the story seems engrossing much like god of war the environment is incredible it looks great. The fighting seems intuitive, totally a crowd pleaser. The enviornment is the most impressive it seems so expansive the CG is great. The story is about a woman using a sword that was not supposed to be used by humans and would risk the humans life. Guess who gets the sword?

more misc.

EA is mostly focusing on casual gaming, taking notes from Nintendo obviously, everyone seems to be jumping on the casual band wagon.

Actvision emphasis the new Tony Hawk game offering modes for a career to make money and track editors.

I missed an hour of E3 but I'll be up watching a re-run of the hour I missed to show you the newest toys at E3.

E3 Story

Is E3 dead, E3 is slightly smaller this year but it's still more efficient and you can get more time with designers. The problem's are that indie dev's arent getting there chance and the conferences are more hushed and revealing less.

misc.

Burnout Paradise city has a winter release date.

Hellboy the Science of evil is a bit of re-creation that is somewhat based on the movie on XB360 PS3 PSP with a fall release.

Fallout 3

Fallout 3, a futuristic game, that takes on a surface after a world that has been nuked, this is like an FPS/RPG in a post-apocalyptic world, looks ridiculously fun, the environment is enormous think Oblivion environments.

Assasins Creed

We have the scoop on Assassin's Creed, the new city, Jerusalem it looks beautiful. This game turns out to be more of a sand box style game you can decide exactly how you want to go about taking on the mission. This game looks great, of course another blooper glitch, the guy was thrown of the side of a building but he was floating in the air instead of falling down. You have real interactivity deciding how you want to go about drudging your way through the crowd, it may end up alerting guards it seems amazing. Available on the PS3 and the Xbox 360.

Here we go

Okay I'm starting to cover the game floor for a little while stay tuned for more info and i'll be uploading pictures at the end, and maybe even a few videos.
